The successful candidate provides administrative support through effective communication for the Travel Trade Sales Managers. This position reports to the Acting Director of Sales, Travel Trade. Responsibilities include;

  • Acts as a support contact in the absence of the Travel Trade Sales Managers for colleagues and clients
  • Support and assist the Travel Trade Sales Managers in all customer requests and follow up
  • Assist with client reporting including client history, monthly and quarterly reports, and additional reporting as required
  • Coordinate sales contracts including timely follow-up and approval by Sales Managers
  • Coordinate tradeshows, including client profiles and sales materials
  • Maintain sales database and client information in SalesForce
  • Organize and participate in familiarization tours, receptions, site visits, and other events as required
  • Control and issuance of International promotional giveaways and prize letters
  • Assist and support other coordinators with the goal of creating a cohesive team environment
  • Assist with tasks and requests for all markets, in the absence of other coordinators
  • Responsible for administrative and sales support, reporting or other documentation for the sales & marketing team


  • Possess knowledge of the tourism business, including industry organizations and large private industry influences
  • Knowledge of the trends and characteristics of visitor markets
  • A degree or diploma, preferably in marketing /business, with a minimum of three years related business experience
  • An independent worker, self-starter, assertive attributes
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, with the ability to see multiple projects and tasks through to completion on a timely basis
  • Ideally possess tourism related business experience but consumer products experience would be acceptable
  • A detail oriented person, who possesses strong administration and organization skills with a team approach on all projects
  • Computer literate, comfortable with Microsoft Office package with a willingness to learn new programs
  • Familiarity with SalesForce an asset
  • Must be able to work some overtime and enjoy working with a team in a busy, fast-paced environment
