We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager, Digital Marketing to join our results-driven marketing team. The Senior Manager, Digital Marketing supports the goals of Pursuit by leading our digital marketing team in maximizing our brands’ online visibility, strengthening our consumer engagement and growing our online revenue generation.

Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, Digital Marketing will be responsible managing our travel experiences and brands online while driving demand generation campaigns.  With a strong analytical background, this role will act as a subject matter expert to develop digital strategies to support marketing programs and customer engagement strategies.  The Senior Manager, Digital Marketing will utilize SEO/PPC, email, social media, content marketing and other digital tactics to drive measurable, inbound marketing results.  In addition, the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing will track and report digital marketing key performance indicators; and identify, recommend, and execute improvements for optimizing strategy, budget allocations, end-to-end customer experience (e.g. customer journeys, inbound marketing, lead nurturing, conversion/touch points), and additional website improvements.

 

Reporting into the VP of Marketing, the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing will work closely with other marketing managers within the Pursuit marketing organization, sales managers, IT professionals and a team of external subject matter experts to ensure that Pursuit’s digital marketing strategies are supporting our vision/mission, growth strategies and revenue targets.

 

Specific duties and responsibilities;

  • Development and implementation of annual digital marketing plans and budgets including recommendation of appropriate objectives, strategies and tactics
  • Leads the digital marketing team in the production and deployment of websites, SEM strategies, social media engagement, direct email marketing and e-newsletter services including appropriate tracking and analytics
  • Grow, mentor and guide our digital marketing team with care
  • Oversee digital media planning/buying; supervise digital agencies for SEM/SEO and paid digital media
  • Direct development, execution and optimization of lead nurturing campaigns, list segmentation, content and personalized email campaigns
  • Manages and direct development teams, programmers and support staff on production of websites and online advertising campaigns
  • Ensures consistency and alignment of all digital tactics and content with corresponding and complimentary offline marketing
  • Liaise with creative agencies and industry organizations to develop online partnerships and distribution channels including their production and tracking

Qualifications

  • 8 - 10 years marketing experience
  • 7+ years digital marketing, preferably in a travel and tourism environment
  • University degree in Business, Marketing Communications or Digital Marketing
  • Ability to deliver well-researched and thought out digital marketing strategies and programs
  • In-depth knowledge of current, best digital marketing practices and emerging digital technologies and trends
  • Experience with marketing automation platforms
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of management
  • Strong interpersonal skills are essential including relationship management and conflict management
  • Ability to lead, manage and grow a team
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced organization
  • Ability to travel to the USA
