Responsibilities

Reporting to the IT Applications Manager, this position configures products and other supporting data in Pursuit’s various applications (Pacific, RTP, and Maestro) to support sales and operations in all geographies.

  • Receive and prioritize requests for new products and packages
  • Configure price structures, discounts, inventory, and commissions
  • Create customer profiles and logins for new clients
  • Ensure supporting documentation for front line teams is available and accurate
  • Collaborate with Applications team members and the lines of business to find the optimal configuration of products for sale online, via the call centre, or in person
  • Enter costs, markups, and other rules as per supplier contracts
  • Test products for correctness prior to launch
  • Work with front-line sales teams and marketing to quickly resolve any product issues
  • Some data and booking maintenance as required
  • Categorize products for reporting and analysis

Qualifications

The successful candidate must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment, as well as independently
  • Strong attention to detail at all times with consistency during high-pressure and time-sensitive situations
  • Working knowledge of MSOffice
  • Experience with any of the following applications would be an asset: Pacific, RTP, Maestro, RetailPro, and Micros
